Do I need to register to view businesses?
No. You can view the details of any business for sale on our site. If you wish to contact the seller, then you will need to register.
How will Email Alerts help me?
Email alerts are a way of getting the latest businesses that match your very own criteria sent direct to your inbox! You don't have to keep coming back to the site and searching for suitable businesses, you enter you search criteria once and then we send you anything that matches, as soon as it is added to the site.
You will be the first to see new businesses that meet your requirements, so you can be the first to get in there and make an offer.

How do I sell my business on onebusiness sales?
There are 4 areas of our site, so firstly you need to decide which one fits your business.
Corporate - any business with a turnover that exceeds £500,000
Small Business - any business with a turnover below £500,000
Retail - businesses which are in a retail environment, such as shops, cafes, hairdressers etc
Franchise - either a master franchise or a franchise opportunity

How do I edit my advert?
In order to edit your advert you must be logged in. You can always login from the homepage.
Once you have logged in you will see two tabs in the top left corner of the site - just above our logo. If you click on the tab called "My Account" you will be taken into your very own administration area where you can make all kinds of changes.
To edit your advert click on the For Sale icon, then click the Edit Advert button next to your chosen advert.
You can then make whatever changes you need, and then save you advert.

What do I do if I need more information than is given in the advert?
If you have found a business that you are very interested in and you would like more information, or you would like to make an offer etc, you will need to make contact with the seller.
On the right of each advert there are a set of icons, one of which is Contact Seller. If you click this you can send a message direct to the seller via our online messaging system. You will need to be logged in to use this feature.
